Face Piece Launches

Welcome to Face Piece, the new label from Audio Bullys, and as you would expect from the Bullys, something suitably different awaits you.

The first release comes from a new artist who also goes by the name of Face Piece. City Of Mod takes the current trend of ethnic vocal samples and twists it up, taking the vocal and chopping and filtering it into new rhythmic sounds. Backed up by brooding synths, clicky percussion and grooving drums, this is primed and ready for any party.

In The Dead of Night takes things a bit darker a techier, with massive reverberant synths, huge drops and a chatting vocal, its all set to send floors in to pandemonium

Two sterling tracks to kick off a very exciting new imprint.

2010 UK Tour Announced

Audio Bullys return to the UK live scene for their first tour in 3 years following a one off, sold out, night in London in November of this year. Having travelled from Ones To Watch with debut album, ‘Ego Wars’ (2003) and scraped the top of the charts with the smash single, ‘Shot You Down (2005) from follow up ‘Generation’, the duo of Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale have been out of the public eye for some time.

That time has been spent scrapping one album in order to make another, the soon to come third album from the pair which saw them change label and approach, taking the first half of 2009 to lock themselves into a studio in North London and reconnect with what had made Audio Bullys so special in the first place, a process that Simon describes as ‘like rehab, retox, heaven and prison all rolled into one mixing desk. With a dark Moscow sc-fi drive home down the North Circular.’

An early taster for that third album can be downloaded for free from www.audiobullys.com in the shape of ‘Kiss The Sky’, currently climbing the Cool Cuts chart week on week.
Tickets for all dates go on sale at 9am on Friday 18th December. Dates and ticket details are HERE.
